These photos below are my final series for this project tell me a story, this isn’t just a project this is my story. my main source of research for these photos came from personal experiences whilst dealing with these dark thoughts. Just know that this was a really personal project for me, these are photos purely expressed from my own thoughts and emotions.

Photography Inspirations

below are a selection of photographers who have documented their own personal experiences with Anxiety and Depression. 

I found that looking into these artist has helped me realise that I’m not alone when it comes to anxiety and depression and the thoughts that go with them. I also feel like i don’t have to explain myself when it comes to looking at these photos, If you just look at them, these visualised nightmares aren’t just pieces of photography. They’re are people expressing their pain and experiences through the medium.
